This webinarfeatured Dr. Martha Carvour from the University of Iowa Carver College of Medicine and Mazahir Salih from the Center for Worker Justice of Eastern Iowa, moderated by Kaci Ginn, Project Coordinator at the Institute for Public Health Practice and previous local health department Preparedness Specialist.

We discussed the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, equity issues that have arisen from it, and how health departments can have a role in reaching equity moving forward. The session concluded with time for an open conversation.
