Existing disparities in health care and other health predictors have led to the Latinx community having an increased risk of contracting COVID-19, as well as an increased vulnerability to the negative social and economic impacts from the pandemic. Luckily, the Latinx Advocacy Team and Interdisciplinary Network for COVID-19 (LATIN-19), a coalition created to connect Latinx communities with COVID resources, has started to bridge the health equity gap in Latinx populations.
