Join the Institute for Public Health Practice at the University of Iowa, College of Public Health, in partnership with the Midwestern Public Health Training Center, for the fourteenth installment of the Building Health Equity webinar series, After Effects: Natural Disasters and Equity on Wednesday, October 11th, 2023, from 1-2 PM CT. We will feature Bonnie Rubin, University of Iowa College of Public Health Strike Force, and Carrie Walker, Director of Learning at the Greater Cedar Rapids Community Foundation.
We will be discussing the most pressing issues related to natural disasters and equity in Iowa, ways to mitigate health disparities after natural disasters, and strategies health departments can take to prepare and respond to natural disasters through health equity lens.
